ME, MYSELF & I

Biography
Born and raised in Quezon City, XCYLE started his passion for music at a very young age of 7. As time goes by, being engaged to music and to make people entertained was just a part of his childhood dream that eventually, became into reality.

Influenced by their neighbor';s tenant together with the country's most influential radio station since the early 80's, this young lad pursue his DJ career out from scratch. From being an underdog and a mobile crew, from carrying around crates of vinyls, audio equipment, wires and speaker cabinets in 1997, he forced himself to learn the craft, the basic art of mixing and turntablism. Way back then, he ended up purchasing his first set of used DJ equipment and records through the support and efforts of his Mom and other relatives.

In 1994, he became a big fan of Hip-Hop. He loved to play and listen to the tunes of Cypress Hill, A Tribe Called Quest and Naughty By Nature to name a few which gave him the idea of innovating and improving his skills in mixing tunes. His DJ influences were mostly local DJ celebrities known today like DJ Coki, Masta Plann's DJ Sonny, M.O.D. and Ouch. This was due to the reason that his access to the world of DJing was limited up until the age of the world wide web and social networking came into play.

At this point, XCYLE needs no introduction. Today, he is known to many as a mix-show DJ, a club DJ, a re-mixer and a turntablist. His innovative style of mixing and scratching routine on the fly while playing tunes and his way of rocking a party has entertained crowds over and over again.

From 2009 and up to present, has been a very busy year for XCYLE. He holds his residency at a local hot spot in Cavite, plays in various events across Town and continues to work and to make more good music to please the liking of the crowd.
